Arfinnit, Cosmic Destiny and Thoughtsofstardom are all considered in this competitive handicap to open the card but the vote is given to Talcen Gwyn. The selection is a course and distance but he is also overy well-drawn here, something that can't be said about a number of the other market leaders. He is making his seasonal reappearance today but if he is fit enough to do himself justice then he should go close. Arfinnit is another course and distance winner and he returned to form last time at Lingfield when beating Maromito. However, that was his first win since 2005 and he has the worst of the draw here so looks worth taking on. Thoughtsofstardom and Cosmic Destiny were only seperated by a neck at Wolverhampton last time and on these terms there should be little between them again, although they both have the handicap of a high draw to overcome. This is a really tricky race for punters to call but Talcen Gwyn has plenty in his favour and he gets the vote.
