    Verdict

As open a handicap as you're likely to encounter and narrow preference is for Medieval Maiden with Top Seed, Mixing, and Noah Jameel all making it to a lengthy shortlist. A course winner earlier in the season, the selection comes here on the back of a couple of moderate turf runs. Whilst his mark on the all-weather is slightly higher, he still looks to be fairly treated and although no star he should run well. Siena Star didn¿t handle the Bath track when last seen and will appreciate a return to a more level playing field, whilst Top Seed was possibly given too much to do last time at Yarmouth and will be more competitive today given a strong pace and if ridden slightly more positively. Mixing was disappointing when last seen but is rated better than that bare form and can run well here, as could Trysting Grove and Noah Jameel who both run this track well. At a price Sintennis Mac could go well, having been well-supported recently at Newmarket, however it is Medieval Maiden who receives the vote.
