Onceuponatime relished a quicker surface last time and should go well however a mark of 80 looks high enough for now and narrow preference is for Prime Factor whose form looks solid. A winner over this course and distance on just his second start, Barry Hills' gelding has run well in defeat of late including when third recently over the minimum trip at Great Leighs behind Befortyfour. He has been dropped a pound for that run and he should be very competitive today now upped back to six furlongs. Honey Monster was a ready winner recently at Wolverhampton and has his first start for Alan McCabe today, whilst another recent winner Vigano has a 7lb rise in the weights to contend with. Maryolini has held his form well of late, as opposed to Phar Mei Blue who disappointed recently but may show up better today now back on the all-weather. Caprio is of interest as Tom Dascombe does very well with other stable's cast-offs and his jockey knows him well. A tough race to call, but Prime Factor can be number one.
