A host of in-form challengers for this five furlong dash and we'll take ABSA LUTTE to prove best of them from Barnezet and Ask Jenny. The selection has been given a break since taking second off this mark at Catterick but that effort was on soft ground and on her win here two starts prior to that she looks well enough handicapped off just 4lbs higher. All three of her wins have come on artificial surfaces and despite the belief that she might be slightly more effective over six they should go a decent pace here and in Richard Hughes the mare has the ideal partner to weave through the gaps and land the spoils. Barnezet arrives in search of the hat-trick and rates the main danger to our selection running here off the same mark as when last successful. That victory did come back in May and the filly has been off the track since so fitness must be taken on trust but as an improving and relatively unexposed three-year-old she must be respected. Ask Jenny is another hat-trick seeker but this one needed every yard of the six furlongs at Lingfield when last winning and the drop back to five might just see her outpaced before staying on to land a place. Fromsong and Silver Prelude could both be in better form but have chances nonetheless, particularly the latter who can be tough to peg back when on song. Of the others Lithaam is just a pound higher than when last winning in October and continues to run well but our preference is for the bang in-form Absa Lutte.
