There is little to separate Sir Edwin Landseer and Folio on their previous clashes at Goodwood and York and both have to be respected while Queen's Victory can't be ruled out after a confidence booster at Bath recently. Membership, a close third behind the classy Country Reel in the Gimcrack last time is another to consider but preference is for Hurricane Alan. The selection finished behind Sir Edwin Landseer in a valuable sales race over 5f at Newbury in July but is better over this trip as he showed when lifting a similar event at The Curragh before finishing an honourable fourth behind subsequent Prix Morny hero Elusive City in the Richmond Stakes at Goodwood on his latest start.
