      Verdict

      SCRIBE is holding his form well and looks the safest bet. He's chasing a hat-trick after a couple of victories at Wolverhampton and is just preferred to Knox Overstreet. The latter's penalty for winning at Chepstow last Friday is negated by an apprentice's claim and another bold bid is expected. Arashi scored over 1m4f here in March and attempts this longer trip for the first time while Russian George is quite capable of winning at this level but is too unreliable to have much confidence in.
