      Verdict

SHAVANSKY will have come on for his recent reappearance and gets the nod. He can effectively race off a lower mark than when scoring over track and trip in September with Pat Millman's allowance taken into consideration and is preferred to Compton Rainbow. The latter should do better back in this grade after a modest effort in Listed company but Idol Deputy is upped another 4lb for finishing second at Wolverhampton last time. Ree's Rascal ran well in soft ground three weeks ago having won here before that and he's another worthy of consideration.
