UNDERWORLD DANDY is the pick in this moderate looking handicap with Catchanova and Alfalevva on the shortlist. The gelding finished placed at Wolverhampton last time out but is 3lb better in with Alfaleevva on that effort. While it is true that many of his better efforts have obtained in plating company, there is a degree of consistency about his efforts. Catchanova appeared to appreciate a drop in grade last time and the step up to a mile should be no issues. Nave cost 100 000 US dollars but he has seemingly gone backwards since posting a third to Audacity Of Hope at Ripon in June. Jeff Pearce has his horses in good nick at present so don't rule out a big run from Glen Lass. Until The Man has been put up 3lb for an improved effort at Yarmouth and could be open to further progression. Wolverhampton winner, Fine Lace appears best of the rest. Underworld Dandy is selected in a race of minimal punting appeal.
