Silk Gallery won well on her latest start but with the filly yet to race under a mark this high we're turning our attentions to FIRST SWALLOW, who ran well in defeat under a similar burden last time while Bertbrand could also go well in a wide open sprint. Finishing second best in comparable company at Ayr last time the selection seems to have finally arrived at a competitive racing weight after starting life in these ranks under heavey looking burdens. He was only just caught on the line that day so the shorter trip looks a plus and he won't mind any rain. Silk Gallery was driven out for a comfortable enough victory on her last start but with her yet to race under such a load we'll take a watching brief this time. Bertbrand proved to be fairly weighted after a silver medal performance off this rating last time and has ground conditions to suit while Desert Pride could be interesting under a career low burden. This looks a tricky start to the day but First Swallow looks just the call.
