With a good course record and more promised after just a couple of starts this campaign we'll side with DREAM OF OLWYN in this closing handicap, in preference to hat-trick seeking Miss Sophisticat and the potentially well treated Rio Guru. Versatile as far as the ground is concerned the selection has scored on both of his previous visits here and both were over course and distance. He was just headed by the re-opposing I'm In The Pink last time but is weighted to reverse that result and with this just his third start of the season it's not unreasonable to suggest he'll show us more. Miss Sophisticat is on a roll and easily scored last time under a penalty to set up this hat-trick bid. She now looks to have plenty to do under her increased burden even with a good conditional removing a valuable five pounds. Rio Guru is now at a career low mark but has hinted at some form recently so should go better while Applaude is consistent but his best has been in plating company. It's a competitive end to the card but Dream Of Olwyn looks marginally the best treated.
