Verdict

LADY MASTER is a tentative pick with Happy Forever and The Cuckoo likely to have their followers. An improved effort at Sandown saw Lady Master disappear into many notebooks in August and while it is of some concern that we haven't seen her since, today's draw is a distinct positive. Happy Forever made all to win a Bath maiden. Smokey Ryder, who was similarly well backed on that occasion, is here on this. The Cuckoo dotted up in a weak contest at Southwell. The opposition may have been moderate but his time figures were solid. Mazzola is likely to be up with the early pace though invariably he ends up setting it up for others. With Barry Hills' yard in such good nick it would be no surprise to see Evelyn May leave behind a couple of unmemorable efforts. Lady Master looks open to the most progression off this current mark so is offered up as our idea of the winner.
