HILBRE COURT stands out on ratings here and is very hard to see beyond; the main dangers appearing to be Talk Of Saafend and Smokey Rye. The selection justified odds-on favourtism in claiming company on his last start and had been keeping good company in handicaps prior to that but looks rather flattered by his rating of 80. He should prove too good for these. Talk Of Saafend has run respectably in handicap company since landing a claimer three starts back. There is very little to choose between Talk Of Saafend and Hilbre Court on their running at Salisbury in July. Smokey Rye has been disappointing of late but has shown signs of temperament in the past. This is only her second attempt at a mile. Desert Clover and The Hoofer are others that would have each-way claims but Hilbre Court is the pick.
