Fortune City is not straight-forward and so we will side with VINE STREET ahead of Houghton and Winter Miss. Michael Jarvis' daughter of Singspiel made a pleasing debut at Newbury over 10 furlongs. She was well-fancied on that occasion, backed down to 7/2 and ran well before tiring late on. With this quicker ground in her favour and the experience on her side she may prove hard to beat. Winter Miss looked like she would improve a lot for her debut at Kempton, whilst Colourful Move and Euroceleb should both step up on just average maiden runs. Houghton tries a visor today and he has shown enough ability to take a weak maiden but this is unlikely to be that, whilst Fortune City looks a tough ride and Frankie will need to be at his best aboard this gelded son of Rahy. The newcomers don't make much appeal and so we will return to Vine Street to lead them home.
