GEOFFDAW responded well to the first-time visor at Kempton recently and is taken to win again; Triumphant Welcome and Little Knickers make up the shortlist. A course and distance winner in the past, Mark Wallace's gelding won cosily last time. Given a good rise by Eddie Ahern, the pair evidently get on well as he has partnered him to victory on two of his three career wins. Although not straightforward, he is still on a handy mark and from a good draw should run well. Laureldean Dream is unexposed and ran well behind Siren Party last time, whilst Nice Dream could be one of interest with Joe Fanning back on board. Little Knickers has been given a break since her last run and has claims, although an extra furlong may have suited her more, whilst Minwir needs to bounce back from a poor run having previously won well at Great Leighs. Triumphant Welcome is the one unknown factor in the line-up; he was an easy winner on just his second start at Goodwood and may be well-treated off a mark of 67. A tough finale for punters and just narrow preference is for Geoffdaw.
