In depth

Verdict

Leo McGarry looks the one to be with here with Knighton Lad and Carlys Quest also shortlisted.l The selection won easily last time at Fontwell last time when beating Star Award in facile fashion and it will be a surprise if this progressive type is not up to taking this and landing the hat-trick. Knighton Lad won well on heavy ground last time but his trainer believes he is better on a faster surface and with this in mind he looks opposable in this competitive event. Carlys Quest is certainly handicapped to win at the moment and she ran respectably at Haydock last time. However, her last success came in 2005 and she may have to settle for a minor role again. Shardakhan is another with place prospects, but Leo McGarry has a progressive profile and can take this before going on to better things.
