Verdict

Phar Bleu gets our confident vote here ahead of Coach Lane and Offemont. The selection should prove too strong for the rest here but his latest disappointing effort will have to be forgiven as he failed to sparkle at Fontwell when chasing home Turko. However, he is better than that and we are prepared to give him another chance to get his head in front. Coach Lane failed to get home last time so the return to this trip will suit and as he is also proven on this testing ground he will be the one to profit if our selection fails to fire. Offemont is another who will relish the conditions and this scopey type did win well last time when beating Kayceecee at Warwick. However, he does have a poor win ratio so the percentage call is to take him on. Original Fly has his ground so can't be ruled out, but Phar Bleu should have too much class and is taken to land the prize.
