Major Lawrence may well make amends for a costly defeat but it may be worth going into battle with LA MARSEILLAISE on our side. Major Lawrence did hold an entry in a Group 2 prior to his run at Lingfield and that didn't look wholly out of reach when he made a promising debut in an average Newbury maiden. He wears a tongue tie now whilst the trainer does well here and has engaged a jockey with a near one in three record for the yard but it's not difficult to pick holes in the form. Therefore we'll side with the Hills filly who ran a big race in a Chester maiden won by Balaagha although, with the exception of the winner, that form hasn't really worked out. She's also been off the track for a while and needs this run for a mark as do Pagan Force, Moojeh and Dom Polski who have all done enough to be of interest if the vibes are strong. Totalitarian would appear to be the most interesting of the newcomers but we'll be hoping that Major Lawrence fluffs his lines again and that all will be upstanding for La Marseillaise.
