fractous and reared in stalls, chased leading pair, ridden half way, went 2nd inside final furlong, no chance with winner
settled going well behind leading trio, shaken up and clear final furlong, easily
disputed lead until weakened 2f out
disputed lead to 2f out, soon outpaced by winner, lost 2nd inside final furlong
Don't Tell Mum, Roodeye, Siena Gold and Subyan Dreams look the principals in another tight affair and the narrow vote is given to Don't Tell Mum. The selection was a fair fifth on her debut this season behind Penkenna Princess, form that looks rock solid in the context of this race. She is sure to have come on for the run and looks the one to be on under conditions that suit. Roodeye rates the main danger on his best form of last season but that came with more cut in the ground and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Siena Gold is another that could go well but he will do well to give weight and a beating to some less exposed types. Subyan Dreams works well at home but has yet to put in such a performance on the track so is overlooked. Bailey Gate is unexposed but will need to improve on all known efforts to score and for the winner we return to Don't Tell Mum.
