Bureaucrat, Peruvian Prince and Pearl King look the three to concentrate on in this maiden and the confident vote is given Bureaucrat. The selection was a fair fourth behind Takeed last time out. That form sets a reasonable standard in the context of this race and with this faster surface sure to suit he is taken to score. Peruvian Prince rates the main danger as he was a good second on his only run to date behind Storm Silk. He has strengthened up through the winter and will not be far away. Pearl King is another that could go well as he was sent off favourite on his only outing to date. His yard is now back amongst the winners and he should be noted in the market. Of the remainder Drive Me Wild is a well bred sort but his stable's debutantes usually come on for their first run and for that reason he is opposed. This is a trappy affair and stakes should be kept to a minimum but for the winner we return to Bureaucrat.
