Wiseguy, Alderclad Lad and Yankee Crossing look the three to concentrate on in this desperate affair and the narrow vote is given to Wiseguy. The selection was a fair sort on the Flat and although he has been very disappointing to date over hurdles this is his best chance to date and he is given one last chance to get his head in front. Alderclad Lad rates the main danger as he is a well bred sort but he hails from the same yard as the selection and jockey bookings suggest he is the second string. Yankee Crossing is another worthy of respect on his latest fourth behind Darab but he may just need the run after a 121-day absence. Of the remainder, Miss Jessica is from a yard in form and should be noted in the market, but for the winner we return to Wiseguy to win this shocking race.
