A prolific winner over hurdles, ARISTO DU PLESSIS faded away in the closing stages having raced prominently over timber at Wetherby on his first start of the year. He’s taken to make a winning start over fences at the main expense of Cool Mix. The latter finished runner-up at Wetherby on last month’s chasing bow without threatening the winner while Horst is difficult to judge having won twice over fences in France but having a first run for Micky Hammond today. Tayzar has shown little so far in a couple of chase outings.
