A poor but competitive hunt race with Carriage Ride, High Expectations and Finest of Men short listed with the vote going to the last named. A winner of a point to point at Tranwell last time out Finest of Men could be worth siding with once more. He won that day by a convincing eleven lengths and proving his well being he is one to stay on the right side of. Carriage Ride was exposed in a Hunter chase at Hexham when finishing a remote fifth last time out. That form looks moderate so is to be treated with caution. High Expectations is another that was well beaten last time out so in a race with more questions than answers it is worth sticking with Finest of Men.
