      Verdict

      Horses drawn in stall one have an unenviable record in this contest so Lord Charles has to be respected with the plum draw but Bill Turner's colt had to settle for a minor role behind Richard Hannon's Gilded at Newmarket last time and may have to play a second fiddle to another Hannon inmate today with the vote going to Cav Okay, who is preferred to Mubaashir. The last mentioned was a rare first time out juvenile winner for trainer Ed Dunlop when landing a Kempton handicap at the beginning of the month and he can be expected to come on for the run, although the draw could have been kinder. Mind The Style, a stablemate of Lord Charles, needs to improve on all known form, while Hucking Hill has the benefit of experience and a good draw but is more exposed than most of these. The vote then goes to Cav Okay, who created a favourable impression on his debut at Kempton and is taken to follow up for the in-form Richard Hannon yard.
