In depth

Verdict

Barton Flower, Dalaram and Yes Sir will fight this out with the last named getting the nod. Trained by Peter Bowen who trains in Haverfordwest in far west Wales Yes Sir has by far the best hurdle form on offer here. It is true to say that he has found novice chasing a little bit different and came to grief at Catterick last time out. Having said that the penny has to drop sooner or later as he has ample ability and if translating his class over hurdles to fences he is sure to win plenty. Dalaram was a tidy hurdler and was not disgraced in the County Hurdle at Cheltenham before settling for second place in his debut over fences at Sedgefield last time out. Having had that run under his belt he can only improve so is worth noting. Barton Flower is another horse who has traveled a long distance and although has not the same hurdle form as the other two mentioned he looks like he will do better over fences. He won on his debut at Hereford and can improve once more. But he will need to if he is to win. So for the winner we return to Yes Sir.
