After a taking victory when trying this assignment for the first time HAZELDENE looks set to follow up under a penalty with Front Rank looking the danger while Goldan Jess might be the one for each-way punters. Six lengths was the margin of victory for the selection in what, in class terms at least, was a better race over course and distance. Had he been carrying the 7lbs extra he has on his back here that day he still would have scored so if running up to the same form he should score. Front Rank has a decent chance of winning as he also steps down in class. Goldan Jess is a little inconsistent but looks to have place chances while Marsool is respected from a top yard and should be competitive under this rating now in a handicap away from novice company. A tricky end to the card but Hazeldene should follow up.
