In a Conditional Jockeys' Novices' Handicap Hurdle we're going to side with both form and jockey talent by opting for SOLIS in preference to Mountskip and Arabian Silk. Ryan Mania has all the makings of a star of the future and it is he that rides the selection. Solis was placed off this mark two starts back and after another solid effort last time he may do better out of novice company. Mountskip also has a promising rider to do the steering and although he is up in the handicap following his second runner-up placing in two starts he is unexposed enough to improve. Arabian Silk has had just a handful of starts over jumps and her second to Banjaxed Girl at Uttoxeter in January now looks decent form. She's been well held in her last two starts but this looks an easier assignment. Beidh Tine Anseo was only just beaten on handicap debut last time but his form suggests he'll want more cut in the ground so the best option looks to be Solis.
