Dianne Sayer seems to have found a good opportunity for SAMIZDAT to get back to winning ways with Jurisdiction looking the main threat and Mini Beck has chances off top weight. Although 10lbs worse off than when completing back to back victories last term the pick has every chance after finding one too good in a better race last time. That was the second time in a row that he had found one too good but with that form looking the best on offer he gets the call. Jurisdiction doesn't always complete his assignments but did display a bit of the promise he showed in a winning bumper debut when a well held third two starts ago. He's still coming into his own but at this stage doesn't look one to trust fully. Mini Beck also showed promise when finding just the one the better in three consecutive starts last year. He wasn't quite as good in his final two runs of that campaign but it looks too early to write him off. I Witness is another that could go well but he is difficult to assess on his handicap bow so instead we turn to Samizdat who is consistent and is taking a step down in class.
