Walter de Wodeland was still travelling well before unseating four out at Newton Abbot last month and the dual recent point winner has to be respected but it is hard to get away from FARMER FRANK, who gets the vote with Alroyal rated the best of the rest. The selection was left clear at the last when successful on heavy ground at Towcester last time but Nick Kent's gelding had run well the time before until falling and, given his form of late, he looks the one that they all have to beat. Michael Scudamore's Mr Goofy ran better behind Pass The Parsel at Towcester last month but needs to improve further to trouble the judge, while Andrew Jackson's Ryeman similarly showed his best form for some time on his most recent start at Newton Abbot but is hard to back with confidence. Shooters Wood, who has been in good form in points, is held by the last mentioned on running last time and of more interest may be Ian Prichard's Alroyal, who is a consistent performer in this grade. Farmer Frank has an obvious chance on what he has been showing of late though and is hard to oppose.
