The fourth race on the card looks to be an above average hunter chase and this can go the way of MAD VICTOR ahead of Gentle George and Marblehaed. The selection is a tentative one in a tricky race but the son of Old Vic does look to be on the improve. He has won his last four starts and beat a decent field in his latest run. If handling these quicker conditions again he should go well. Gentle George is the best horse in the race but his latest effort was very disappointing when turned over at odds of 8-15. He ran a cracker in the Foxhunters at the festival to finish fourth but that race along with the quick ground seemed to leave its mark on the young horse. It's surprising he is running again but there is no doubting he has plenty of ability. Marblehead is the highest rated horse in the field but that might flatter him a bit. James Pine is a course and distance winner and won his last start so must be monitored but its Mad Victor for us.
