Another good race on the Huntingdon card and Bathwick Annie might just be good enough to get the better of, mainly, Moreluck, Red Guard and Kilmore Quay. Running through the field. Multeen River is a course winner but has been disappointing since that win but is at least dropping in the weights now. Bathwick Annie is a course and distance winner, a success that initiated a a straight hat-trick of wins. Even though she's now rated 24lbs higher in the ratings, she has a progressive look about her and this three-mile trip will suit her better than the shorter trip she raced over last time. Moreluck beat Another Chance last time and that one runs in the 3:00 race on the card. A winning pointer in Ireland, he too has a progressive profile and is one of a number of runners adding interest and intrigue to this contest. Kildorragh is fairly weighted based on his December 2001 win but others are preferred today. Red Guard is now rated three pounds lower than for his course and distance win last January and could go well with his stable in form. Lord 'N' Master is six-pounds higher than for his Sandown win last March but he's talented and could still go well. Lannkaran won at Towcester from a mark of 108 in April 2002 so, now rated 104, could go well following a fair Kempton run recently. Kilmore Quay is also interesting in that he landed a huge gamble in a Beginners Chase last time. He is unexposed, hails from a canny stable and it will be interesting to see how he goes. And, finally, Quainton Hills is generally consistent but, overall, others are preferred for win purposes. As we say, an interesting race and one in which it might pay to side with the progressiev Bathwick Annie.
