Magic Mistress gets the vote here ahead of De Blanc and Double Deal. The selection sees Nicky Henderson and Tony McCoy team up and this triple Flat winner at up to 10 furlongs looks to hold very solid credentials in this mares-only contest. De Blanc showed promise on the Flat in France and, now with Venetia Williams, is sure to have been well schooled for her British debut. Double Deal's second to Geri Roulette at Newcastle last time reads very well in the context of this race and she should go well too. Of the others, Dalriath at least showed some form on the Flat and there is some staying blood on the dam's side of her pedigree as her grandam is related to Oscar Schindler. Peruvia won a nine-furlong Hamilton maiden on the Flat and, lightly raced, could go well in what looks a modest race overall, and Sienna Sunset won over 10 furlongs on the Flat at Brighton. And Grand Lass finally came good at Wolverhampton earlier in the month, although we prefer others today. And, of these, we very much like the look of Magic Mistress.
