Having won earlier at the track, Goodbye Dancer was still travelling well when falling at the last at Cheltenham at the start of the month and would have finished ahead of Who's My Jockey and Taj Badalandabad had he stood up. The latter won this qualifier in 2018 and Tom Scudamore prefers him to stablemate Eur Gone West. Both Irish raiders merit consideration, particularly Doctor Duffy who was second in a Listed race at Cork when last in action. Palmers Hill, Phoenix Way and Label Des Obeaux are all returning from lengthy absences but are worth a market check. Anytime Will Do is another to consider and veteran Kansas City Chief got back to winning ways recently at Taunton. But the vote goes to DORKING BOY, who has hit form with a vengeance and wasn’t stopping when going clear over 2m4f last time at Newbury.
