      Verdict

Several with claims in the opener including Billie Beane, who won off today’s mark over track and trip last summer. Azets has been thereabouts recently and will be winning off a similar mark before long but CHETAN ran his best race for some time when beaten only a neck at Chelmsford recently. He finished ahead of both Sharp Operator and Caledonia Laird on that occasion and can go one better racing off the same mark today. Cristal Pallas Cat posted a better effort at Chelmsford when last in action and is another to note.
