Adopted Hero, Edmo Yewkay and Chief Yeoman look set to fight this out at the finish with the latter given as the selection. Chief Yeoman defied a penalty to defeat Lord of Beauty last time at Newbury, and he may be capable of repeating the trick one again here. He is a game sort who looks to be going the right way and he gets the narrow preference over Adopted Hero. Adopted Hero was an expensive purchase off the flat and showed a good deal of promise when finishing third behind Sunray at Chepstow last time. He is sure to come on for that effort and will run our selection close. Edmo Yewkay is well thought of by his trainer and he ran well when defeating Emerging Star at Doncaster last month. There may be more to come from this gelding and a market move for him should be noted. The rest will have to improve to trouble the principles, and we will stick with Chief Yeoman as our choice.
