In depth

Verdict

HAUL AWAY (NAP) finished nine lengths ahead of last week’s Uttoxeter winner Black Sam Bella when second on his hurdling debut at Ludlow in November. He’s been waiting for the better ground and may have more speed than the more-exposed Potterman and winning pointer Dr Rhythm. Myplaceatmidnight has shown decent form in bumpers but he’s facing better opposition on his first try over hurdles. Commodore Barry may also need the experience.
