Verdict

Morning Time was given a good ride by Alexander Thorne to score over course and distance this month and the likely instructions from Lucinda Russell are to go out and replicate those successful tactics. Expect the combination to go well again but OH SO GIGOLO (NAP) is preferred. He ran a shocker last time at Cartmel on the soft but the Lake District track is also a law unto itself and his previous effort on a first start for the Slack yard was replete with promise when just reeled in at Sedgefield. 2m on good ground will suit and is well worth another chance off his current mark which has been left unchanged despite his latest tailed-off run. Frightened Rabbit probably ran into one here last time and looks best of those towards the head of the weights and Rockabilly Riot is also worthy of consideration if ready after a near 200-day break.
