always behind, struggling from 9th
tracked winner until 4th, soon outpaced, never dangerous
tracked leaders in 3rd, chased winner from 4th until 3 out, regained 2nd after last, plugged on and no chance with winner
made all, blundered 4th, clear before 2 out
in touch, blundered and chased winner from 3 out until after last, no extra
It's quite remarkable to see PEACE AND CO make his chasing debut here after what has hitherto proved a major fall from grace over hurdles since landing the 2015 Triumph Hurdle. Great things were subsequently expected of him but he has not won since and perhaps more importantly has only been seen in public six times in the past two years. Connections are obviously persevering with him and he should have far too much class for such modest opposition if he takes to his new discipline. For Yes was no match for Midnight Shot and Cup Final here at the last meeting but he looks the one most likely to take advantage should the hot favourite fail to fire. Vic's Last Stand is next best on his chasing bow as the two Irish raiders have plenty to find on the book.
