Verdict

The Grey Taylor continues to plummet down the handicap but there remains no sign of a revival in fortunes and he is passed over. HEIST has to concede plenty of weight all round but is thoroughly deserving of the impost and he is by far the most consistent and reliable one here, as well as operating to a decent level over both hurdles and fences. He is back over the larger obstacles now where he enjoys an excellent record and is taken to oblige under his now regular partner who claims a valuable 7lb. Hopefully his exertions when third over hurdles at Ffos Las just three days ago will not affect his chance. Mister Don and Garrahalish are both solid performers but do tend to find one to good on most occasions. Nevertheless, they do receive a nice amount of weight from the Irish topweight and look the main threats, with the latter preferred of the pair for Dickin and Poste.
