Verdict

GRAND DU NORD won a bumper here and only just failed to catch Curley Finger over the track and trip last month. True Destiny, six-times a winner on the Flat for Roger Charlton, has shown nothing in four starts over timber in Ireland but wouldn't be travelling here without hope. Belvedere Blast hasn't won in 19 starts on the Flat but was having only his second start over hurdles when staying on over shorter at Market Rasen. Silver Coin was beaten a long way at Uttoxeter but still looks best of the remainder.
