Verdict

Treasured Company won twice last summer but also ran out twice so is hardly one to trust. MELBURNIAN, three-times a winner on the Flat, made a very promising debut for new connections when runner-up on his handicap debut here a couple of weeks ago and can go one better. Well Educated changed stables after landing a 2m seller here in April and found 2m6f stretching his stamina at Cartmel. Barney Stinson is 0-11 though Brian Hughes rode him for the first time here earlier this month and almost got him home but Fox's Socks, a very easy winner at Uttoxeter when well supported last July, hasn't shown the same kind of form from his revised mark though shouldn't be dismissed.
