In depth

Verdict

Another tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be True Temper, Kidithou and Copplestone and the narrow vote is given to True Temper. The selection was a fair second behind Lord Who in a hunter chase when last seen returns to handicapping off a handy mark and under conditions that suit he looks the value bet. Kidithou rates the main danger was well fancied but unshipped his rider early on in a race won by Magic Route but all his best form is on fast ground and he is taken on with this in mind. Copplestone is another that could go well on his latest fourth behind Royal Glen. The step up in trip should suit and he should be watched in the market. Russian Sky has conditions rto suit and could go well at a price especialy if first time cheekpieces bring about some improvement. Of the remainder, Mistral De La Cour is well in on his best form and is worth a cautionary look in the market but he has shown little of late and in a race where stakes should be kept to the minimum for the winner we return to True Temper.
