Spree Vision gets a narrow vote over Bid Spotter, with Ringside Jack and Very Tasty also not to be discounted. This is the most wide-open affair on the card, but Spree Vision has been improving with each run and there is no reason to believe that he will not go close to opening his account under Graham Lee. Peter Monteith's eight-year-old is quite well handicapped on his best form over hurdles as he bids to gain his victory since 2002, and as long as the ground does not firm up, he could just do it. This contest is little better in reality than the seller that he was second in at Cartmel 12 days ago, so hopes are high that he can go one better. Bid Spotter has struggled a bit at the weights after scoring at Towcester and would prefer a stiffer test, while Ringside Jack needs to brush up his jumping. He would have been closer on his last visit here but for clouting the final flight and may be worth looking at for a place. Very Tasty has a light weight as he bids to follow up his win over the selection at Cartmel, but is much worse off at the weights now and will surely struggle to confirm the form. A small investment on Spree Vision is the suggestion.
