A sizeable field for this handicap hurdle and with the stable going well ZELOS DIKTATOR might be capable of following up Thursday's Wetherby win at the main expense of Flying Doctor and Monsieur Cadou. The selection is not bred to be staying this far, but the way he won over 2m 4f at the West Yorkshire track suggested that he should get home over further, and the slower conditions here should also suit, so we will take him to go in again. Flying Doctor was also a winner last time, in his case in the handicap hurdle on that same Wetherby card. He carries a penalty in this, has some positive track experience to his name and also acts with cut, even though better ground is his optimum and we will just oppose. Monsieur Cadou is lightly-raced and could still progress further. Tom George's gelding has gone up 7lbs despite being a beaten favourite at Exeter last time and, while respected, that looks a tough ask. Thatlldoforme has a bit to prove, and Solway Ally has clear frame claims, but preference is for Zelos Diktator.
