In depth

Verdict

Switched back to hurdles, KING GOLAN (NAP) won a shade cosily at Huntingdon five days ago on his first run for Richard Newland. He can race off the same mark here, 12lb lower than his chase rating, and is hard to oppose. Vango De Vaige is another who has been chasing and he is having a first start for Donald McCain. Iwasthefutureonce won at Wetherby in March but recent Huntingdon scorer Forchena makes more appeal.
