Grand Coureur won at Southwell last summer and was placed of higher marks than this later, though he’s not looked the same since wind surgery. Graystown, twice a course winner, showed a bit more here last month and enters calculations. Uttoxeter runner-up Mackie Dee can also figure and Holme Abbey won over course and distance last month, though that was on soft going and he’s been raised 5lb. MORNINGSIDE was give a lot to do making his chasing debut over 2m at Perth. This is a more suitable distance for the winning pointer who is the least exposed of these under Rules.
