    Verdict

Derracrin surpassed previous efforts in landing a first success on his 15th start on his chasing debut over course and distance. But AZOF DES MOTTES (NAP) won a better race at Kelso and has only been put up 3lb so a follow-up may be on the cards. Our Marty still seems to be feeling his way over fences while Mac Suibhne has gone off the boil since winning at Wetherby last season.
