In depth

Verdict

Wee William,Now Then Sid and Tee-Jay are three against the field in this competitive handicap chase and the vote is given to Wee William. The selection eon well, last time pout when beating Highland Brig last time out. Granted he has a penalty for that win but he looks a progressive type and under conditions that suit he is taken to win again. Now Then Sid rates the main danger on his latest second behind Lothian Captain but all his best form is over a shorter trip and for that reason he is opposed. Tee-Jay is another worthy of respect but he just gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him when third behind Over The Storm. Toran Road is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is hard to win with. Of the remainder Pessimistic Dick looks on a handy mark and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to the unexposed Wee William.
