In depth

Verdict

A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Nerone, Only Words and Bywell Beau and the vote is given to Nerone. The selection was a fair third behind Kiliwjimbo last time out. That form has since been franked and off the same mark here he looks the value bet in an open affair. Only Words rates the main danger on his latest second behind I'm Your Man but he just gave the impression he was in the handicappers grip on that occasion and he looks opposable on that basis. Bywell Beau is another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Harry Flashman but that form has since been let down and he looks vulnerable under top weighty. United Spirit has conditions to suit and could run well at a price while Majorca is from a yard in form and is another to watch in the market but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Nerone.
