Verdict
A field large in numbers but low in quality. Cheyenne Chief, Double Blade and Toejam are all sure to have there supporters but we prefer to take a chance on Rescator. The gelding from the Sue Smth yard was a good third in a better race behind Indian Star last time and now he is dropped in grade he will be hard to beat. Double Blade would be the one to beat on his best form but with his stable out of form he is not worth risking at likely odds. Cheyenne Chief is another dropping in grade and if there was plenty of rain he could go well at a fair price as all his best efforts have come on soft ground. Toejam also enters calculations on his best form but he barley gets the trip and this stiff course may be against him. Of the remainder Celebration Town is from a top yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market.
