Glinger Flame was chasing last season and usually needs a run so is best watched today. Exod'ela wasn’t winning out of turn at Ludlow in February and further progress this term is likely but Ask Paddington was a disappointing favourite at Uttoxeter after making a winning return at Sedgefield. PAGERO won at Newton Abbot in August and would have finished closer when a hot favourite at Fontwell later with a clear run. A further 2lb rise hasn’t done him any favours but he might still be the one to beat. Newtown Boy hasn’t quite hit top form since returning from a break but should be approaching peak fitness now.
